Whether you’re looking to increase muscle mass or bone density, lose weight (bodyfat), improve your overall strength and fitness, or just increase your knowledge – this workshop is perfect for you!

In PART I – the facts…and the myths – you’ll learn how important it is to maintain strong muscles – expecially for women over 60, the  benefits and what happens if you don’t strength train.

In PART 2 – time to move – we’ll go through some exercises for you to experience the power of bands, how easy they are to use and how easy it is to decrease / increase the resistance instead of having to purchase an array of dumbells.

Don’t worry if you’ve never lifted a weight before – this workshop is all about starting at the beginning and building your strength from there.

I’ve walked the talk – and still am!  I’m passionate about you maintaining your muscle mass and can’t wait for you to learn just how easy it is.

I have worked in Health & Fitness for over 40 years (!) as an Instructor, Personal Trainer, International Presenter, Fitness Consultant and Health Club Manger.  I’ve been passionate about strength training since 1978 when I discovered it was the best way to burn body fat after I’d gained 1 stone and I later realised that being strong had many other advantages: I was able to carry my own windsurfer down to the water’s edge instead of asking the guys to help me; I’m able to handle my 200 kg Ducati 700cc motorcycle and I intend to remain strong, active and indepentent for the rest of my life.    Since turning 60, I realise that strength training is not an option.   If you want to carry on doing the things that you need, want and love well into later life then you MUST Strength Train …. and I’ll show you how.
