In PART I – the presentation – you’ll learn how important it is to maintain strong muscles – expecially for women over 60, the ย benefits and what happens if you don’t strength train.

In PART 2 – the practical – we’ll go through the exercises on line – ย learning proper form, technique, and how to use equipment safely – AND why this is SO important.

Don’t worry if you’ve never lifted a weight before – this workshop is all about starting at the beginning and building your strength from there.

Not only will you receive a recording of the presentation but you will also receive a video of the exercises.

Why Listen to ย Me?

I have worked in Health & Fitness for 40 years (!) as an Instructor, Personal Trainer, International Presenter, Fitness Consultant and Health Club Manger. ย I’ve been passionate about strength training since 1978 when I discovered it was the best way to burn body fat after I’d gained 1 stone and I later realised that being strong had many other advantages: I was able to carry my own windsurfer down to the water’s edge instead of asking the guys to help me; I’m able to handle my 200 kg Ducati 700cc motorcycle and I hope to remain strong active and indepentent for the rest of my life. ย  ย Since turning 60, I realise that strength training is not an option if I want to carry on doing the things that I need, want and love well into later life.
